How to adjust the failure of slewing bearing

Slewing bearing

(1) The installation support of slewing support (the seat on the bottom of the supporting ring and the seat on the upper surface of the inner ring) must be rigid enough and the installation surface should be flat. Before assembling the slewing bearing, the bearing should be stress-relieved to reduce the deformation of the slewing bearing. The contact surface between the support and the slewing support must be cleaned up during assembly.

(2) Attention should be paid to the change of noise and rotary resistance moment in use. If abnormal phenomena occur, they should be disassembled and inspected.

(3) Slewing bearings must be hoisted horizontally or stored, not vertically, in order to avoid deformation.

(4) Before the bolt is tightened completely, the gear meshing inspection should be carried out, and the meshing condition should meet the requirements of gear accuracy: that is, the contact spots distributed on the tooth surface after the gear pair runs under slight braking are not less than 25% in the direction of tooth height and not less than 30% in the direction of tooth length.

(5) In 10 shifts of tooth surface work, debris should be removed once, and grease should be re-coated.

(6) In order to ensure the reliability of bolt operation and avoid the insufficiency of bolt preload, the preload torque of the bolt should be checked after the first 100 hours and 500 hours of slewing support operation respectively. Thereafter, the pre-tightening torque should be checked every 1000 hours.

(7) High strength bolts and nuts are used for connecting slewing bearings; twin nuts are used for fastening and loosening prevention.

(8) When tightening the nut, lubricating oil should be applied to the thread of the bolt and the end face of the nut, and the torque wrench should be used to tighten the nut symmetrically and evenly in the circumferential direction for many times. In the last tightening, the pre-tightening torque on each bolt should be roughly uniform.

(9) Four oil cups are distributed on the surface of the gear ring on the rotating support aiming at the raceway, thus lubricating grease is added to the raceway. In general, the slewing bearing is lubricated once in 50 hours. Every refueling must be sufficient until grease leaks from the seal.
