Because of the difference of manufacturing accuracy and material uniformity, even if the same material and the same batch of slewing bearings of the same size are used under the same working conditions, the life of slewing bearings is not the same. If the statistical life is 1 unit, the longest relative life is 4 units, the shortest is 0.1-0.2 units, and the ratio of longest to shortest life is 20-40 times. 90% of the rotary bearings do not produce pitting corrosion, and the number of rotations or hours experienced is called the rated life of the rotary bearings.

The standard service life of slewing support is calculated by statistics: the safety factor is determined according to the service condition of slewing support. According to the corresponding dynamic load-carrying capacity curve, the test load is determined, and the total test rotation is calculated according to the theoretical life of 30000 rpm. At present, the limitations of the methods of calculating the rated service life and evaluating and analyzing the operation state of slewing bearings in practical application are pointed out. A set of dynamic gap measuring and evaluating methods for the remaining service life of slewing bearings are given. The method is applied to analyze and study the method, and the conclusion that is in line with the actual situation is obtained and the remaining service life is reasonably predicted.
